✅ Fixes

  • Tutorial messages restored after game loop Tutorial hints like “Hold [Reload] to refill water!” and “Out of ammo! Find water!” now display correctly after restarting the game loop. → Issue was due to persistent UI objects retaining inactive state — persistence removed.
  • Population percentage alignment fixed Text no longer overlaps or misaligns when reaching 100%.

✨ Improvements

Player

  • Movement speed slightly increased from 2.0 to 2.25 to improve vertical reachability and overall flow.

Shooting System

  • Water projectile visual updated Sprite added to give sense of movement, now rotates to match direction using local pivot rotation for visual fidelity.

UI Enhancements

  • Population feedback expanded New message displayed when reaching 100%, improving endgame feedback.

🎬 Credits

  • Improved layout and composition Visual polish for better readability and pixel-perfect alignment.

⚖️ Balances

  • Game pacing adjusted
    • Enemy spawn rate slowed down slightly for longer play sessions.
    • Overall tension curve extended for better experience before game over.

🔮 Future Tasks & Improvements

UI & Gameplay

  •  (Postponed) Ammo UI sometimes disappears after “No Ammo” warning — to be investigated and fixed.
  • (Postponed) In-game Pause menu and Exit button still pending implementation.

Obstacles

  • (Postponed) New obstacle sprites and placement logic — visual update for level layout.
