🎯 Concept
A top-down narrative adventure where the player explores dark rooms to recover lost memories. Each memory represents a milestone in a broken world, gradually revealing fragments of its hidden story.
Controls
- Move: WSAD / Directional Pad (Game Controller)
- Continue: Enter / Start
🕹️ Core Mechanics
- Free movement in a top-down view
- A flickering lantern with fading light
- Light nodes that expand the map and reduce stress
- Light-sensitive enemies that attack in darkness
- Stress bar that decreases in darkness and recovers near light
🧠 Narrative
- The player wanders as an anonymous figure in a fractured world
- Collecting all memories reconstructs the path toward the ending
🎨 Aesthetic
- Monochromatic pixel art with color accents tied to light and stress
- Modular environments with smooth transitions
- Ambient sound distorted in darkness, calming near light
Unity 20th Anniversary Game Jam
This game was created for the Unity 20th Anniversary Game Jam, celebrating two decades of Unity. Developed in a 55-hour window (with just 32 hours of actual work) under the theme "Timeless".
